New Sales Company in Argentina

 

We are pleased to announce, that Nilfisk-Advance has opened a new Sales Company in Argentina as from beginning March, 2008.

The Sales Company in Argentina is Nilfisk-Advance's first Sales Company in South America.

"We are very excited about our entrance into Argentina. It is a part of the world where the market for automated cleaning equipment is developing rapidly due to continuously higher living standards. This is of course a development that we want to be a part of. We want to make sure that we can offer our high quality products to new customers, as soon as they see a need to automate their cleaning," says Jørgen Jensen, President and CEO.

In Argentina Nilfisk-Advance will:

  • Establish sales through dealers to secure country wide coverage
  • Establish direct sales in Greater Buenos Aires area
  • Provide full service for machines
  • Represent complete group product portfolio

Nilfisk-Advance has solid experience in setting up Sales Companies in new markets. Major success has been achieved recently with the newly developed Mexican, Russian and Turkish Sales Companies, where the organic growth within the first 2-3 years has been impressive.

"Our new Sales Company in Argentina is a part of our strategy to further strengthen our position in the Americas. We want to position ourselves in Argentina, because it is an attractive place to be with a fast growing economy," says Jørgen Jensen, President and CEO.

General Manager of the Argentine company will be Marcelo Naury. Marcelo joined Nilfisk-Advance in 2000 and has through the years gained extensive knowledge of the company and its full product range.
