Pneumatic conveyors exploit the depression created inside the container to suck powders, mixtures, granules and capsules which will then be released into an appropriate place in a fixed time and quantity.
Pneumatic transportation is particularly used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry to convey powders from containers and bins inside packaging and compressing machines.

Conveyors are largely used even in the plastic, cosmetic, food and wine industries (to load perlite inside filters).
